PrepTez Terms of Use

1. Who operates PrepTez, and what these Terms are

PrepTez is an exam-preparation pilot operated by Chandan Ray, an individual trading under the name PrepTez. “PrepTez”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to that operator.

These Terms set the conditions for using PrepTez. By creating an account, making a purchase or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The offer shown before purchase identifies the course and material you buy. Our Refund and Cancellation Policy explains cancellation and refund requests. Our Privacy Notice separately explains how personal data is handled; accepting these Terms is not permission for optional marketing or for unrelated uses of personal data.

2. Eligibility and account use

You must be at least 18 years old to register, purchase or use the pilot service. Do not create an account for a person under 18 or allow them to use your account. Parental permission does not create an exception to this pilot eligibility rule.

Provide accurate account information and use an email address you control. Keep your sign-in links, verification codes and account access secure. Do not sell, share or transfer your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone has accessed it without permission.

If we discover that an account belongs to an ineligible person, we may restrict access and contact the account holder to resolve the situation. Personal-data handling and any payment remedy are considered separately under the Privacy Notice, the Refund and Cancellation Policy and applicable law.

3. What the course includes

Your purchase includes access to the course module identified in the purchase offer and its related material, as described before payment. The offer distinguishes paid material from free samples or other free access.

Other courses, future modules, AI services, downloadable products and separately priced features are included only when the purchase offer expressly says so. Announcing or discussing a future feature does not add it to an existing purchase.

PrepTez provides study material and practice support. It does not guarantee a score, rank, selection, examination result or employment. PrepTez is independent of the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) and does not represent the examination authority. Use the examination authority’s official notices for eligibility, dates, procedures and results.

We may correct and update study material. If you find an error, or a material difference between the course and its description, contact us so that we can investigate and provide an appropriate correction or remedy.

4. Price and payment

The pilot course costs ₹750 in total. GST is not separately charged. The final payable amount and the included course are shown before payment.

A purchase is completed when payment is successfully confirmed. We then provide the related order and payment information and the course access. If your payment succeeds but access does not become available, contact support with the payment reference. Do not pay again merely because the confirmation page is delayed.

A change to a future offer’s price does not change the price of a purchase you have already completed.

5. When access starts and ends

Paid access begins on successful purchase and ends at 11:59 p.m. Indian Standard Time on 30 October 2026, unless it ends earlier following a refund or a justified suspension or termination under these Terms.

Every purchase under this pilot offer has the same end date, so a later purchase receives a shorter access period. The offer does not provide a fixed number of days from each purchase, and non-use does not extend the end date.

We display the end date and the remaining access period before payment, and we stop accepting purchases under this pilot offer at or before its expiry. A failed activation or a failure to provide the purchased service remains subject to the Refund and Cancellation Policy and applicable remedies.

6. Renewal and extensions

PrepTez may decide whether to offer a renewal or an extension. Neither is guaranteed. Any offer will state its duration, its price (if any) and its conditions. We will not charge for a renewal without your affirmative agreement.

7. Free access

Free access is conditional and is not a promise of permanent access. PrepTez may change, limit or withdraw it, and will notify affected users through the platform or their registered email. Immediate restriction may be necessary for misuse, security concerns or legal requirements.

Changing a free offer does not by itself permit us to remove purchased access before its agreed end date. Any earlier offer you accepted is taken into account when existing access arrangements change; these Terms do not silently rewrite an earlier accepted purchase or grant.

8. Permitted use of material

We give you permission to use the material you are entitled to access for your own study during the applicable access period. This permission does not transfer ownership of PrepTez material or third-party material to you.

Do not resell or commercially redistribute the material, publish substantial copies without permission, harvest the content through automated bulk collection, bypass access controls, interfere with the service or impersonate another user.

Downloading or printing is available only where the relevant material or feature permits it. This does not restrict uses that applicable law permits independently of our permission. Any additional permission needed for a particular use can be requested from support.

You retain ownership of material you create and send to us. We may use it to the extent needed to respond to your request or to provide the feature for which you supplied it, consistently with the Privacy Notice. These Terms do not grant us a general advertising or model-training licence over your submissions.

9. Cancellation and refunds

Our Refund and Cancellation Policy provides a full refund for a request received within 24 hours after successful payment, and an 80% refund for a request received after 24 hours and within 48 hours. Both refunds end the corresponding paid access. A request outside this voluntary window remains subject to any applicable legal remedy.

A refund approved under the policy is initiated within 14 calendar days after approval, subject to any shorter legally required period. Settlement by your bank or payment provider may take additional time. We assess requests promptly and do not delay approval to extend the initiation period.

10. Service availability, suspension and closure

Maintenance, technical faults or events outside our reasonable control may interrupt the service. We will communicate significant known interruptions and take reasonable steps to restore access. This clause does not remove a remedy where the purchased service is not supplied as agreed.

We may restrict or suspend an account for a material breach of these Terms, fraud, unauthorised sharing, harmful interference, a security threat or a legal requirement. Where practicable, we will explain the reason and allow you to respond or correct the issue. Urgent protection of the service or of other users may require action before notice.

You may ask the Grievance Officer to review an access restriction. Refunds and legally required remedies are considered separately; suspension does not automatically erase those rights.

If we cancel the paid course before providing it, we will refund the amount paid. If we materially shorten or stop an already supplied paid course before its agreed end date, we will explain the effect and provide an appropriate remedy under applicable law. We will not apply the voluntary partial-refund deduction automatically to a cancellation initiated by PrepTez.

11. Privacy and account closure

Read the separate Privacy Notice for the data collected, the purposes, the providers, retention and the request channels. Optional consent choices are separate from purchase acceptance.

You may contact the Grievance Officer about account closure, access to information about your data, corrections, deletion or other privacy concerns. Course expiry or account closure does not by itself mean every record can immediately be deleted. Any retention required by law, and the scope of a completed request, are explained through the privacy process.

12. Complaints and disputes

Contact Chandan Ray, Grievance Officer, at chandan.ray@preptez.com. General complaints may also be sent to contact@preptez.com. Include enough information to identify your account or purchase and explain the issue; do not send passwords, one-time codes or full card details.

We will acknowledge consumer complaints within 48 hours and redress them within one month of receipt. We will provide a reference and communicate the outcome.

Indian law applies. You may use consumer forums, courts, regulators or other complaint channels that have jurisdiction under applicable law. Contacting us does not waive those rights. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights, remedies or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Changes to these Terms

We date and identify each new version, explain material changes and give notice through the service or by email as appropriate. Earlier versions stay readable at their own addresses; the list is on our legal documents page. A revised offer applies to future purchases unless an existing user validly agrees to a change or applicable law requires it.

We will not use an update to impose an undisclosed charge, shorten an existing accepted purchase or obtain permission for a new optional use of personal data.
