What PrepTez stores about you
An email address, a record of what you consented to and when, and your mock attempts once you sit one. The current privacy notice is an unreviewed interim draft.
The short version: your email address, a record of what you agreed to and when, and your own activity where you have created some.
Your email address exists because sign-in is by emailed link. Consent records store which version of the privacy notice you accepted and when — every version stays permanently readable at its own address, so you can always see exactly what you agreed to rather than whatever the current wording happens to be. Your mock attempts and answers are stored once you sit a paper. A phone number is stored only if you reach checkout and verify one, which nobody has, because no SMS provider is connected.
What does not exist is behavioural tracking. There is no analytics event table and none is planned. What the platform counts is rows it already keeps for another reason — accounts, orders, entitlements, published chapters. It does not record what you read, when, or for how long.
The effective privacy notice is versioned 2026-08-13-interim and has not been through legal review. That is why public signup is closed. It is said here rather than buried, because you should know that the document you would be consenting to is a draft.
You can withdraw consent from your account page and it takes effect immediately. Export and erasure are a different matter — the article on deleting your account explains where they stand.
